I've also had issues with SqlDependency on Vista. I've not even tried SSIS on it. For what its worth, too: Yukon (SQL Server 2005) wasn't targeted for the Vista platform, but for Server 2003 with SP1 and the .NET 2.0 runtime. Its not clear to me what version of the runtime will actually ship with Vista (2.0 or 2.1)
